IELTS Report��
2008 / 07 / 12 ( Sat ) This was my second IELTS and I took Listening, Reading and Writing today.
I knew what's going on in this tests so I think I was relaxed more than the first time. In addition, I haven't study at all so I didn't have any pressure on me by myself, too! But I swear that I will prepare to get certain score next time. Today's IELTS  Listening・I had a kind of nostarsic feeling listening Australian English! ・I got some words unsure about spelling,, ・Where the chart was, I lost my ways for a little while. I should have just followed question number.. I will remember this next time. Reading・There're 3topics altogether. I did finished 2. This is exactly same as last time. I think I know what I need to do now. To speed up, just do read as many topics as I can, to finish every topics next time. Writing・This time I started with 2nd question. I'm not sure if it worked well, but I know my time management were aweful. I needed to write more,, ・The theme,, I didn't have much interest, and it was hard for me to have ideas and have reasons to support, too. On the other hand, I was concentrate to write in academic way. I'm not so clear about it, but at least I tried not to just write like this blog.. Next my IELTS day is going to be in winter I guess. Until this October finished, I think I will concentrate with my work,, which I have to,, and I will get big dayoffs, study, and I will take IELTS again! Before that, tomorrow is a Speaking day! I will do my best for now! 本日は、IELTS第2回目の受験日でした  今日は、リスニング、リーディング、ライティングを受けてきました。 2回目の受験だったので、リラックス  できてたのが良かったことでしょうか。勉強も全くできないまま今日を迎えたので、気負いもなかったし。。 でも次回の受験は、ちゃーんと準備して目標スコア目指してがんばります  本日のILETS リスニング・オージーイングリッシュを久々に聞き、何だかなつかし〜い気分に  ・いくつかスペルがあやし〜い単語がありましたが、とりあえず埋めました。。 ・表があったところで、一瞬迷子になりました・・・。 惑わされず、とりあえず問題番号順に追えば良かったのです  これは、次回の教訓に。。 リーディング・大問3問中、今回も2問しか出来ず。。 スピードアップせねばなりません。出来るだけ多く問題をとくようにしようと思います。 ライティング・今回は、前回の教訓を活かして、大問2つ目からはじめました。 それが良かったのか悪かったのかは、、不明。 文字数も足りないまま  終わりました。・致命的だったのは、テーマにあまり関心がなかったこと。。 関心がないものだから、論じるのが難しい  でも一方で、アカデミックライティングに集中することができました。 いや、アカデミックライティングってきちんと勉強できていませんが このブログみたいな感じでだらだら〜っと書くのを意識して辞めました  次回のIELTS受験は冬ごろになるかな・・・。 10月末までは仕事仕事になりそうなのですが（というかそうならざるを得なさそうなので  ）今から冬は冬眠する  と宣言しています。そこでがっつり勉強して、次は受験するつもりです とその前に  、明日はスピーキングです。明日は明日でベストを尽くします〜  |
Study book1 and 2
2008 / 05 / 05 ( Mon )  I bought this book for my Writing Module after getting my score last time,, I bought it in amazon, so I didn't know if the book is all right,, But it seems all right to me!! Anyway, I try to finish this book until the next IELTS  ライティングの成績が飛びぬけて悪かったので、この教材を買ってみました。 アマゾンで注文したので、中身を見られずの購入でしたが 届いてみると、よさそうな感じです 次回のILETS受験までに、一冊これをしようと思います。  Next one, this is my first IELTS book. I wanted to try practice test before taking the real IELTS, so I bought this, and I tried twice and there are 2 more practice test left. It is very dissapointing there are only 1 listening practice, but the price of this book is pretty handy, so I can't really complain about it. お次に紹介するのは、私が勉強第一号に使った教材です。 本番の受験の前に、せめて模擬試験をしようということで購入しました。 結局2回模擬試験をして、当日に臨みましたが、 あと2回の模擬（手付かず ）が残っています。4回分の模擬試験があるのに、なぜかリスニングが1回しかないのが 微妙  ですが、、この教材はお手ごろ価格なので、、文句を言ってはいけませんね  |
The First IELTS Score Arrived
2008 / 04 / 28 ( Mon ) I've got the IELTS score today. It was a little scarely opening the envelop!!!
My score was, Listening 6.5 Reading 6.5 Writing 5.0 Speaking 6.5 Overall Band Score 6.0. To say the truth,, I was expecting much worse. And now I know where I have to concentrate, Writing.. I thought I was Okey for Writing and Speaking, and for Listening and Reading, I couldn't get any good feeling. It seems like throughout all section, I need to bottom up. It is a good start and next IELTS will be in July. I have to start studying.. きましたきました!! IELTSの結果。 封筒開けるときになんとドキドキしたことでしょう・・・  リスニング 6.5 リーディング 6.5 ライティング 5.0 スピーキング 6.5 オーバーオール 6.0 思ったより、かなりよかった・・・  で、これからどこに力を入れるかってのもしっかり見えてきました ライティング 、ですね。ライティングとスピーキングはそれなりに大丈夫だろう  、、リーディングとリスニングは全然ダメだった ・・と思ったのですが。。全体的に底上げする必要がありそうです  次の試験は7月です 。いいかげん、勉強始めないと。。 |
IELTS 〜met a girl
2008 / 04 / 15 ( Tue ) There are nobody know about IELTS around me, So I was expected something really quiet and small rooms for IELTS exam. But when I arrived there, there were over hundred people there, That was a biggest surprise for me!
One the first day, I met one girl who seems like my age, we were both on the way to IELTS. Because we both had a yellow map which sent by brithsh council, so it was easy to see we both are taking the same exam. We were both for the first time,too. So we lost our way a little together.. Next day, I met her again where the speaking test. We had sometime to talk this time, and we found out that we had stayed in Australia at the same time! She was in Adelaide and I was in Melbourne, so we've even never met though. But her story about Adelaide mekes me think about Adelaide is really attractive place!!! She's now planning to go to UK for her study and also she told me that the course she is getting in starts from THIS September! It seems like really despalate for her getting IELTS score. Unfortunately, I will skip exams in May and June because of my work, so I might not see her, but we cheer our selves up each other! It was really nice meeting somebody. IELTS知ってる人に出会ったことがなかった ので私はてっきりしーん とした小部屋で受験する雰囲気だとばかり思っておりました。が  、会場についてみると、100人以上の人が･･･！びっくりしました!!!! 初日、行きしに同年代っぽい女の子  と出会いました。ブリティッシュカウンシルから送付された黄色い地図を持っていたので 一目瞭然 だった上、二人とも始めての受験。 そんなわけで、二人でちょっと道間違えたり  。翌日のスピーキングテストの日にも再会 。この日はしばらく話をする時間がありまして  。なんと、同時期にオーストラリア  にいたことが判明！彼女はアデレードで、私はメルボルンなので、すれ違ってもないですが 。アデレードの話を聞いていると、かなり惹かれるものがありました・・・ 彼女は今はイギリス  留学を考えていて、なんと今年の9月  に入学をひかえているとのこと。めちゃくちゃ焦ってました。 5月、6月は仕事 で私はIELTS受験できないのでもう会うことはないかもしれませんが お互いがんばろうね〜  と励ましあいました。こんな出会い有りで嬉しかったです〜〜   |
IELTS Report
2008 / 04 / 14 ( Mon ) I took an IELTS, it was for my very first IELTS,, I'm pretty sure I didn't do well with it,,
First of all, it started really early in a morning on Sat. I had to get the place at 8:20, so I needed to get up at 6,, I felt really exausted and nervous at the same time,, It was my fault that had a late night though.. 1st day, 30mins Listening 1hour Reading 1hour Writing Reading section was aweful.. There're 3 reading qestions each for 20 mins, but I couldn't finish whole one reading question.. Listening, it was much more difficult than I expected.. Writing, I think I did what I could do at the moment, I'm sure I have to study certain way of academic writing now.. 2nd day, 20mins Speaking Speaking module is by one British examiner with recording whole conversation, It was so simple and really quick! It started as normal conversation, he asked me about where I come from, about my work, rutine house work, children's education, public transport and so on. We just talked like a normal conversation. Then, he gave me a task card, it was about being late, he gave me for 1min to think about my speech and then for 2 mins to have an acctural speech. After finishing this, he gave me a couple of questions. That was it. Before having exam, I kind of thought I have to see what my scores like, and then I know where I am now and now after the exam, I already know I have to study for IELTS.Especially for reading, I need more reading speed and vocab. I always thought about how I can avoid study when I was a kid,, but this time, it will be the time I study..More than that, I started worried about myself being all right studying the course and teaching kids,too. I will start maybe 30mins study everyday after work. It should be better than nothing.. 受けてきました〜！IELTS。 初☆受験  だったのですが・・・、できませんでした。。土曜の朝8時20分集合に間に合わすため 6時起き だったのですが・・・疲れ果ててた のと緊張とが同時にやってきた感じでした。前の晩に遅くなったのは一重に私が悪い のですが・・・。初日 30分 リスニング 1時間 リーディング 1時間 ライティング リーディングはメ タメタでした。20分ずつの大問が３つあるのですが、最後の一つがまるまるできなかった 。。リスニングも思ったより難しく 、、ライティングは、現時点でできるところまではがんばりました が、アカデミックな論述の仕方（語彙も。。）を勉強しなければなりません。。 2日目 20分 スピーキング スピーキングはイギリス人テスターが、レコーディング  をしながら行われました。スピーキングはシンプルで、あっという間でした!! 普通の会話形式で始まり、聞かれたのは、出身地や仕事、 日々の家事のこと、教育問題、公共交通機関についてなどなど。 それからタスクカードを渡され、テーマは遅刻することについてだったのですが 1分間スピーチを考える時間、それから2分間のスピーチを行いました。 それから関連する質問をいくつか受け、終了しました。 試験を受ける前は、とりあえず現時点でスコアがどのくらいか知りたい なんて思っていましたが 、、いざ受けてみると、IELTS用に勉強しなきゃダメだ〜  と痛感。。特にリーディングはもっとスピードアップしないとツラい 。語彙も増やさないとツラい。いかにサボるかとばかり考えて子どもの頃からあまり勉強はしなかった のですが、、とうとう勉強すべき時がきた模様です。 そんなことよりも、こんなトホホ な状態で入学して、果ては子どもに教えるだなんて・・・大丈夫なのか・・・？ という感じです。。毎日30分勉強 、というのからはじめます。何もしないよりましなはず・・・。  |
